Cullen Payne Architects are currently designing a new housing project of 56 units, to be developed on land owned by Limerick City and County Council, providing housing delivery with associated landscaping works and access. This exercise is phase 01 of a 245 dwelling housing masterplan for LCCC.

These proposals for Toppin’s Field have been developed as part of the wider southside masterplan which imagined a housing-led redevelopment providing a mix of housing types which respond to local needs and context.  The current scheme achieves a density of at over 50 units per hectare, with a housing mix of different tenures, types and unit sizes to promote and enable accommodation for a diverse neighbourhood including families, single people, and older persons.

Currently at Stage 2, the project is anticipated to proceed to planning in 2024.
