Cullen Payne Architects are pleased to announce that planning permission has been secured for a significant extension and refurbishment of St Anne’s in Clifden, Co Galway.
The project involves the provision of 40 bed spaces in single ensuite arrangements, with day spaces and support accommodation. The residential areas are provided in a new build wing located to the west of an existing protected structure. They are arranged over two storeys and around a courtyard. The ground floor is divided between the 10-bed dementia household and 10-bed short stay ward. The first floor contains a 20-bed household.
The existing protected structure will be enhanced and refurbished to provide day care facilities along with support and administrative areas.
Cullen Payne Architects are Design Team Leader and providing Architectural and Conservation Architecture services to the project.
