A development of 18 single and two-bed units in Finglas. The site is bounded by the Catholic church and Ballygall Road West. The new buildings are set out east-west to take advantage of the southerly aspect and views. A terrace of buildings will be located facing east to address Ballygall Road West.
The units are monopitched, on a podium which allows basement car-parking by exploiting the falls across the site. They are all dual aspect and have maximum access to sunlight and views. External walls will be clad in a dark brick and roofs will be covered in concrete tiles to accord with the palette of materials common in similar building types in the area, and to ease the cost of long-term maintenance in a sustainable manner. Windows and doors will be timber framed and double glazed.
